Kids are gobbling up some fun at the Morton Arboretum.
The Arboretum recently hosted “Turkey Time” for parents and toddlers in their Children’s Garden.
They sang songs, tasted some delicious snacks and also made a turkey decoration for their Thanksgiving table.
The kids also got to learn about turkeys as animals.
“They probably haven’t thought about wild turkeys before,” said DeeAnn Crable, Contract Employee at the Morton Arboretum. “For instance, anytime you have this kind of class, the kids walk out knowing they can run, fly, how many babies they can have, and just more general information.”
Kids two to three years old can attend this Thanksgiving class November 9th and November 10th.
