The Naperville Century Walk has gone mobile. The 40-piece public art exhibit features murals, mosaics and sculptures that tell Naperville’s story throughout the past 100 years.
Now those checking out the art throughout the downtown area have an audio description of each piece to tell them a little more.
“Well they are sight specific so they would be describing what the people are seeing,” said Brand Bobosky, President, Naperville Century Walk. “It goes beyond what the plaques say.”
Smartphone users can access the audio tour by scanning the QR code either on the Century Walk’s brochure or their website. Eventually Century Walk officials would like each of the 40 locations to have their own QR code that would instantly play the audio description for that piece.
