With more frigid temperatures headed our way over night, many Naperville schools and businesses have decided to stay closed tomorrow, January 28, 2014.
Both Indian Prairie School District 204 and Naperville School District 203 have canceled classes and all after-school activities on January 28.
This includes District 203’s premiere of the Future Focus Documentary originally set for tomorrow evening. The District will post a new premiere date on their website Naperville203.org, when rescheduled.
The Naperville Park District has also canceled their programs due to the subzero temperatures. The District also warns residents to refrain from sledding or ice-skating during that time as well.
All classes and activities at Benedictine University’s Lisle campus, the Moser Center in Naperville, the Bellwood Learning Center and all off-site locations are also canceled for tomorrow January, 28.
College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn has also announced they will stay closed on Tuesday as well.
Loaves and Fishes will be closed tomorrow, January 28. Food distribution will resume at 9:00 am Wednesday, January 29.
North Central College, which is closed today due to the weather, hasn’t announced whether or not they will be closed tomorrow as well.
The Kroehler Family YMCA is running on reduced hours, both today Jan., 27 and tomorrow Jan. 28. They will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Naperville Area Humane Society will be closed to the public in the evening tonight.
Other groups closing on Tuesday are Western DuPage Special Recreation Association, Cosley Zoo in Wheaton, and The Morton Arboretum.
