The Naperville Riverwalk was filled with stationary bikes for 24 hours, which helped to raise money for a good cause at the third annual Bike Bald Spin-A-Thon.
“We’re working with Bike Bald which is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises money to give support to children’s cancer and their families, and us as owners we’re big on biking obviously, so we we’re one of the main sponsors we let them use our bikes, we moved them all down here, taught some classes and did whatever we could to help out,” said Katlyn Depace, Owners and Instructors of Handlebars Indoor Cycling.
Folks were able to ride as individuals or with a team and switched up every hour.
The event brought in a couple thousand dollars and the group hopes to raise more next year.
