Benedictine University’s Police Department is the first private university law enforcement agency in the state to receive accreditation.
The Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police granted the accreditation after a thorough review of the department’s polices, procedures, and operations.
The accreditation means that Benedictine’s police force meets professional law enforcement standards.
This isn’t the only accolade Benedictine’s police force has received…
A recent report by stateuniversity.com ranked Benedictine the safest four-year school in Illinois.
