Empire By Ballydoyle is one step closer to their new location in Naperville.
Engineers checked the stability of the 100-year-old building at the corner of Main Street and Chicago Avenue. They determined that despite recent fire and flood, it’s still in good condition.
Owners plan to implement a craft beer and craft burger menu, and hope to pack the weekends with live music.
“We like to be part of the community. We’re a locally owned business; we have a lot of investors here from Naperville that know Naperville and love it. So were excited to get down here and be part of the whole community,” said owner Phil Cullen.
The 9,500 square-foot building, including the former location of Rosebud Italian Specialties & Pizzeria, has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the second floor will now feature a clear, retractable roof.
Empire By Ballydoyle hopes to open by September.
