Summer break has come to an end as District 204 students headed back to school.
Nearly 30,000 kids returned to the classroom for their first day of the 2012-2013 year.
Younger children at Patterson Elementary lined up outside of the school in their new classes, while seniors at Neuqua Valley started off their final year as high schoolers.
“This is going to be my fourth year and to think that this is the year that we end it all,” said Taylor Nielsen a Senior at Neuqua Valley High School. “We go to college next year. I just want to soak in every minute of this year.”
Something new in the district will be an online program called E-school plus which will replace Gradebook and Pinnacle, making it easier for students and parents to look up grades, attendance, and bus routes.
