Naperville based trucking company, DND International, is back on the road after a judge overturned the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s order for them to cease operations.
The feds ordered DND off the road after a fatal crash on I-88 and Eola, that prosecutors say was caused by DND driver Renato Velasquez.
Regulators began investigating the company after logbooks were falsified and drivers were on the road for too many hours.
Federal Judge Richard Goodwin said none of the claims were supported by evidence.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration said they plan to appeal the decision; in the meantime DND’s trucks are back in business.
