The Alive center celebrated its first anniversary with a touch of creativity through an Art Slam.
“We’re Naperville’s teen center and we’ve been open a whole year and we wanted to have a big party and get everyone in and we wanted to do something different so we really focused on art. We have art from teens to adults, to things people had in their attics that they weren’t using, just all different kinds of art,” said Kandice Henning, Founder and Executive Director of the ALIVE Center.
The Daytime suburban Art Fest auctioned off these art items, with proceeds going toward funding free workshops, classes, and group coaching for teens.
