Some students at Crone Middle School recently got a chance to cut –
But not class. Middle schoolers rushed to their seats during lunch, to catch a glimpse of Assistant Principal, Joe Sweeney getting his head shaved.
“Last week we had a raffle, so now I am going to get my head shaved by one 8th grader, a 7th grader and a 6th grader,” said Sweeney.
The fun was for a good cause too; money raised by the students will go toward team IPEF when they run the Naperville Marathon and Half Marathon in October.
The students at Crone raised $236 through the head-shaving raffle.
