One fair lady who has made her mark throughout the community was recently celebrated for her accomplishments.
Naperville’s Bev Patterson Frier was honored with the Third Annual Fair Lady Award at The Center Stage Theater. The award recognizes businesswomen in the community who have made a difference through their contributions to the arts.
Founder and executive director of the Fair Lady Productions Inc., Kandiss Hernandez, created the award in 2011. This year’s honoree opened her first music store, Bev Patterson Piano and Organ Company, in 1967, and has been a musical staple throughout the community ever since.
Last year’s recipient, Stephanie Penick, owner and publisher of Positively Naperville, presented Frier with the award.
“First off I want to say this program is not all about me, it is about all of you. I would not be where I am today without the help and support of all you friends. With you, we have done so many things to help make Naperville a better place to live,” said Frier.
Frier has been a member of the Naperville Chamber of Commerce since 1966, and was honored in 2011 with their Lifetime Achievement Award.
