The Naperville Park District recently unveiled their plans for the future.
The group held an open house for residents to see the 2014 planned capital projects.
Improvements include renovations to playgrounds including Buttonwood Park, East Greens Park, and Wildflower Park.
Ball field renovations at Ashbury Park.
The development of basketball courts at River Run and Kingshill parks.
And nature center developments at the new Knoch Knolls nature center.
“This is a great time to gather resident input, to help us design new park amenities,” said Eric Shutes, the Director of Planning for the Park District. “That will go into the actual designs that we’ll start creating later this year and early next year.”
All the proposed projects are now online at naperparks.org and residents have until August 19 to share their opinion with the park district.
