Kite Fly Festival

An oversized octopus, duck and parrot took over the sky at Frontier Sports Complex, as the Naperville Park District hosted their 10th Annual Kite Fly Festival.

Many visitors came and kept their eyes to the sky watching kites of all sizes soar up to 150 feet in the air, as others learned to fly a kite for the very first time.

“I like how you can manipulate them to doing what you want and you can make them do tricks and all that stuff,” Jayram Palamaday, Participant of the Kite Fly Festival.

The free event also featured activities throughout the grounds for the whole family to enjoy.

We were here to come play at the bounce houses and eat food and have so much fun,” said Zach Reardon, Participant of the Kite Fly Festival.

This years festivities brought out anywhere between 400-800 guests.
