Seeking Businesses for Barn
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s ad hoc committee is looking for local businesses that want to partner up. They’re seeking businesses and groups with mission-aligned uses for the Greene Farm Barn, located on the corner of Hobson and Greene Roads. Those interested in using the historic barn for activities, classes, exhibits, performances, and more are encouraged to consider it as the setting for those ideas. Businesses may contact ad hoc committee chair Rachel Jenness at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Last Fling Dedication
The Naperville Jaycees have announced that a day of The Last Fling will be dedicated to the Aurora Police Foundation. The dedication is an effort to remember the heroic actions made by the first responders during the deadly shooting incident at the Henry Pratt Company in February of this year. To mark Sunday, September 1 as a day of community, partnership, and servitude, the National Anthem will be led by Aurora Police Officer Christopher Weaver, and all proceeds gathered at beverage tent tip jars that day will go back to the police foundation. Check The Last Fling’s website for more details.
