Third Thursday Event
Last night, State Representative Stephanie Kifowit hosted her Third Thursday event, something she does every month at 6 p.m. at the Eola Branch of the Aurora Public Library. This month’s event was focused on connecting those with developmental disabilities and their caregivers to resources in our community. Panelists shared about their organizations, and attendees had the chance to ask questions.
The City of Naperville is seeking input from the public on LED light fixtures they are looking to purchase. The city is testing light fixtures at three locations in town: on Jefferson Avenue between Main Street and Washignton Street, Chicago Avenue between Brainard and Sleight Street, and on Brainard Street immediately north of Chicago Avenue. This is the final phase of the city’s transition to LED lights. Residents can learn more, and give their feedback on the city’s website.
