Leaf Collection Begins
The first bulk curbside leaf pickup begins Monday at 6 a.m. After early snows last year caused delays in pickup for many residents, the city is contracting out more trucks and renting equipment for this year’s collection. Make sure your leaves are raked into the street next to the curb. Potential rain next week could delay collection. Any leaves that aren’t collected need to be disposed of through the city’s free bagged leaf and yard waste collection program, which runs through December 13.
Hello Kitty Truck
The Hello Kitty Café is visiting the Main Street Promenade. Tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. visitors can check out the truck between Hugo’s and Sur la Table for cookies, sweets, and other Hello Kitty items.
