Erin Doepel Wikstrom has always known that her career path would revolve around helping others simplify their lives; she began pursuing a career in the financial services industry in 2008 knowing that it would allow her to do just that. In 2008, Erin seized the opportunity to assist her mom, Ruth, in transferring her valued clients from a previous financial firm to Raymond James. One year later, Raymond James offered her a position, as one of the elite few candidates, in the Financial Planning Residency Program located at their headquarters.
She returned to Illinois in 2011 and began building her own Financial Practice. The following year, she completed rigorous coursework to receive the prestigious certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, became a financial contributor for a column in the Kendall Weekly Times, joined Chamber’s Speakers Bureau, and founded the Woman of the Month Blog for Women In Business. In July 2015 she was recognized as one of Raymond James’ Northern Division Top 10 Year over Year Trailing 12 Month Growth for New Advisors. Shortly thereafter, she was invited to join Doepel Retirement Planning Group (www.doepelretirementplanning.com) as a partner and eventual succession leader.
Erin is also dedicated to providing a better community by volunteering in Naperville Junior Woman’s Club, serving as Chair of Women in Business, and leading a Bible study for her small group at church.
