The best Italian restaurants are steeped in old-world tradition, and Traverso’s is no different.
Brothers Mike and Paul are following in their grandmother’s footsteps, offering you a neighborhood establishment with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, where their home will feel like yours. Whether you enjoy dining in the main room, private room, or at the bar, when it comes to food at Traverso’s, you just can’t go wrong.
Like their Linguini carbonara, smothered in a succulent bacon and cream sauce, or Traverso’s take on comfort food, like thick and tender pork chops, grilled to perfection, or char-broiled lemon chicken wings, crispy, tart, and delicious.
And when it comes to ravioli, you literally get some of mom’s old-fashioned cooking. “They first debuted on Traverso’s menu in 1968,” says Paul Traverso. “My grandmother–and since that time there’s never been a machine used–she didn’t own one, a pasta machine, the dough is made by hand, rolled by hand. Our mother still comes in here once a week –she’s 80 years old, and she makes them.”
From pizza, to pasta, to wings, the menu offers a special take on comfort food with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Experience the Traverso’s tradition: a family-run establishment that will treat you like family. And remember, when you dine around Naperville, you’re bound to have a great experience.
