Be Your Own Boss is the College Program for TransNational Payments.

With seven out of ten college students graduating with an average of $40k in debt, TransNational Payments decided to take action and create a program that would not only help students make a dent in this massive debt before graduating, but give them some legitimate B2B (business-to-business) experience along the way.

“Be Your Own Boss was developed to first and foremost give students the flexibility they need to remain focused on their studies while generating some income when they have the time, all the while, gaining real-life B2B experience,” said Mark London, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at TransNational Payments.

Students focus on the early stages of the sales process, obtaining payment processing statements from local small to medium-sized businesses − TransNational Payments takes it from there.

In addition to gaining B2B experience that most other college programs fail to offer, Be Your Own Boss pays the students per valid statement submission. Should a specific business become a merchant of TransNational Payments, the student is paid again. The Managing Agent position takes this opportunity one step further − students can get their friends involved and once the Managing Agent forms a team, he or she gets paid for each statement someone on their team submits.
