History of Naperville Community Television

Must See Local TV!

Started in 1987, Naperville Community Television (NCTV17) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, delivering hyper-local television coverage of the people, places and perspectives that matter to Naperville residents. We cover local elections, put you curbside at parades, and bring you a wide variety of community events, including band concerts, choir performances and dance shows. Our regularly produced talk shows discuss business, careers, nonprofits, lifestyle issues and much more. Plus each week, we produce:

Naperville News 17: From a local perspective on national news to city issues that matter to you, to an in-depth look at the people and places of our neighborhoods, NN17 keeps residents informed of what’s happening each week within their community.

Naperville Sports Weekly: Starting with the opening kick-off in football through the finish line of track, NSW covers both boys’ and girls’ varsity sports from all six local area high schools. NSW brings fans the highlights, interviews, and stories not seen anywhere else on local television.

Tune in to Channel 17 on Comcast and WOW!, or Channel 99 on AT&T. You can also view our programming via simulcast and video on-demand at NCTV17.com. To stay in the know, sign up to receive Naperville Now or subscribe to our YouTube channels or get social with us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
