Arranmore Farm and Polo Club has been around for quite a while, but it wasn’t until last year that the facility opened its doors for public polo matches. Now people from the Naperville area and beyond can get an up close and personal look at the gorgeous grounds and the unique and fast paced game that is polo. With teams coming from across the United States and from far away as Argentina, the games feature an international flair, which adds to the experience. Fans are able to tailgate right next to the field, and outfits range from jeans and t-shirts to gowns and debutant hats. Kevin Jackman has the story of how the game is played and how the sport found its way to Naperville.
