Bill Mueller comes to NCTV17 after a 30-year career as a Special Agent with the US Treasury Department. He was a diversified federal criminal investigator and retired as the Group Supervisor of the ATF Explosive Group, Chicago Division Office, where he developed, directed and trained specialized teams of investigators. He was instrumental in developing a comprehensive international training program for the US Department of State as well as conducting state, local, and civilian law enforcement seminars. He is also a certified instructor with the State of Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.

As the administrator, Bill is the unofficial face of NCTV17: cordial, gregarious, and polite almost to a fault.  Bill is NCTV17's go-to guy for carpentry work, and he'll never turn down an opportunity to go to the hardware store.

He and his wife Cathy live in Naperville.
