The Cardinal Report
North Central wrestling visits the Cardinal Report this week. Dylan Mahler and Nathan Segal crash the scene after head coach, Joe Norton reminisces about his brief time at Knox College, but then explains what it's like being back home coaching at his old stomping grounds.
The NCC men's basketball team joins the show to recap the first half of the season and talk about some tough upcoming matchups. Two years removed from a Final Four run, this year's team has its sights set on another after an outstanding start to the 2014-2015 campaign.
The NCC cross country teams join the show to recap the DIII National Championships. The men's team won the national title for the 16th time in school history, and two Cardinal runners earned All-American honors. The women's team ended its season with a 20th-place finish.
The Red Zone
North Central finished its 2014 season with a 38-31 on the road at Elmhurst. Head Coach John Thorne, offensive coordinator Jeff Thorne, senior wide receiver Peter Sorenson, and senior defensive back Jordan Dean stop by for the season finale of The Red Zone.
The Cardinals knocked off Augustana 43-14 in the final home game of the regular season. Head coach John Thorne, offensive lineman Marc DesLauriers, and defensive lineman Jon Egan wrap up their regular season this week at Elmhurst.
