The 2011-12 season of Naperville Sports Weekly will premiere August 28 at 6:30 pm. The fast-paced half hour show is produced and anchored by Alex Symonds; Will Armistead is Director. “Naperville Sports Weekly” is the only television program focused solely on the varsity sports from all six Naperville area high schools: Benet Academy, Metea Valley, Naperville Central, Naperville North, Neuqua Valley, and Waubonsie Valley. The fast paced half hour show features highlights, scores, fan reactions, and in-depth stories unavailable anywhere else. Additionally, “Naperville Sports Weekly” features commentary from coaches and local sports experts. “Naperville Sports Weekly” production teams are out all week during the school year capturing footage and sound bytes from the games and sporting events; an all new show begins airing each Sunday night and continues to air multiple times throughout the week. Viewers have two ways to watch this award winning program: On Channel 17; and at NCTV17.com through simultaneous streaming and on-demand.
