The musicians bring along their guitars, banjos, and even a double brass.
It is a good time, and it is a good community thing for the musicians too, said guitarist and group organizer Russ Swanson. A lot musicians are sitting at home playing alone, and it would be great to play with someone else. It gives them a good chance to do that.
Swanson started the troupe earlier this summer.
When someone leaves a tip for the players, they donate it to Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry.
The group plans to keep playing weekly into the fall, and are constantly accepting more musicians.
